Ran Chicago marathon in 4:13.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run the Other Half in Moab in October. I just want to finish since I had a baby at the beginning of July and am trying to get back into shape.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Would like to run another marathon.

I work at The Salt Lake Tribune covering health. Am married to the insanely fast runner Chad and we just had a baby, Jack, the cutest boy ever.

Finally got back to running. I've been sidelined with a cold (and a bout of laziness) but it was a gorgeous way to get back into running, with snow blanketing the valley. Ran with Chad and Jack through the cemetery and down Memory Grove

For real, I'm trying to get back on a sked. I even signed up for the 5K, 10K and 15K series, so I have to start running again.

Today, however, was probably not the best day to go. A yellow day, I could taste the sooty air. And my lungs are definetely suffering for it.

Ran in 31:46; average pace of 10:34.

Ran (in my new jacket, hat and gloves!) through the cemetery, down and 11th and back. Average pace of 9:29, in 34:05. I meant to run on Christmas (what a gorgeous day) but instead we ran around the valley visiting our relatives.
