Probably too many miles so soon after the 1/2 marathon. Ran from our house up Memory Grove and City Creek to the 3 mile mark. Mentally, I was prepared to end at the end of City Creek...But it was a beautiful fall day, despite the cruddy air. Ran mostly behind Chad (pushing Jack) and Karen.

Congradulations on first giving birth to such a cute baby and secondly for returning to running races. I started running races ten months arter my third baby the only thing I would advise is be careful with speed work and increaceing your mileage too quick.

Thanks for the advice..Speed work has definetely been out of the picture. In fact, running has been hurting my lower back so I'm seen a chiro. I'd like to run a marathon, but I think it's going to take a good year to properly heal.
